Indonesian, Nepalese dishes wow foodies at Asian Cuisine Festival

Delicacies from Indonesia and Nepal not only wowed foodies, but also served as a platform for culture exchanges at the Asian Cuisine Festival in Guangzhou on Monday and Tuesday. Indonesia celebrated its Host Country Day at the festival on Monday afternoon with gourmet foods like fried chicken with coconut and Beef Rendang. Tuesday marked Nepal Host Country Day. At the festival, visitors enjoyed Nepalese grilled fish and milk tea, as well as a specialty called MoMo – a traditional Nepalese dish similar to Chinese dumplings – but with a bolder flavor.
