The U.S. Special Representative for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Stephen Biegun will travel to Britain on Tuesday to discuss the denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula, the U.S. Department of State said on Monday.
"Biegun will travel to London March 19 to meet with UK, French, and German counterparts to discuss coordinated efforts to advance the final, fully verified denuclearization of North Korea (the DPRK)," the department said in a brief statement.
The second summit between the DPRK's top leader Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump in Vietnam's capital Hanoi ended without agreement on February 28.
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said earlier on Monday that the United States will "re-engage" with the DPRK over issues of mutual concern.
