Chinese President Xi Jinping and Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte exchanged views on bilateral relations, international and regional issues on Saturday. Xi said China will expand and deepen bilateral relations with Italy, and called for both countries to strengthen high-level exchanges and dialogue. Conte said Italy will deepen its comprehensive strategic partnership with China. They witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding to advance the construction of the Belt and Road.
