"There can be no trade without China," Caique Novis, the superintendent of TV Brasil told CGTN in an exclusive interview, with Brazilian companies looking forward to showing off a wide range of products during the China International Import Expo.
Novis, who said he is looking forward to discussing the development of the media at Monday's Hongqiao International Economic and Trade Forum, told CGTN that Brazil had many more products that it could offer to China and the world, beyond samba, football and carnival.
With Brazil the world's eighth largest economy, Novis described how he expected the CIIE to place further attention on Brazilian products that are already widely consumed and used globally, like orange juice, coffee, ships, soybeans and Embraer aircraft.

Despite the long distance between the two countries in terms of geography, Novis underlined the importance of the relationship between China and Brazil, in the context of trade and the BRICS bloc, saying that “China is everywhere.”
China is Brazil's largest trading partner, with the two countries signing a memorandum of understanding last year on bilateral trade and commerce, with both sides agreeing to promote trade in the services sector.
