For visitors to Beijing Expo Monday, there was a chance for them to watch German-style artistic performances on top of seeing exhibitions on Germany's urban development.
The lucky visitors enjoyed German music while watching jazz, piano and children chorus shows as Germany Day was celebrated at the expo in the day.
With the theme of "Seeding the future," the German pavilion is among the most popular sights at the expo. The area showcases the country's history of transforming itself from an old industrial country into a green one.

Visitors to the German pavilion are also introduced to the development of Germany's rooftop gardens and urban bee raising.
The Beijing Expo, featuring the theme of "Live Green, Live Better," is the world's largest expo of its kind and opened to the public on April 29 in Yanqing District. It will last until October 7.
The expo has attracted exhibitors from 110 countries and international organizations. There are indoor displays and outdoor gardens, highlighting the integration of life and ecology.
It is estimated that 16 million visitors from around the world will visit the expo.
