The iconic scene on the back of the fourth edition of the 100-yuan Renminbi banknote is Wuzhi Peak of Jinggangshan Mountains. Consisting of 11 sub-scenic areas and 76 attractions, Jinggangshan Mountains boast more than 460 scenic objects and landscapes. Among these, the Wuzhi Peak of Jinggangshan Mountains is the symbol and also the main peak of Jinggangshan Mountains.
Wuzhi Peak, also known as Five-Fingers Peak, means five fingers in Chinese. It got its name as the shape of the peak resembles five extended fingers of a human hand. Standing at 1,438 meters above sea level, Wuzhi Peak is located six kilometers southwest of Ciping Town in Jinggangshan City.

There is no path to the peak of the mountains and the unspoiled virgin forests on the mountains are almost without any trace of humans. And that's why it's regarded as home to some rare animal species including sambars and the yellow-stomached tragopan.
The steep and huge mountains confront each other on two sides of the Mt. Jinggang River to form a valley. The river twists and turns as it runs through the valley. In addition, the group of lakes at the foot of Wuzhi Peak is like a bright moon shining around the boundless sea of clouds. Visitors could climb up to the "observation platform" on the other side of the river bank where people could take stunning photos of the mountains.
