Stan Lee, the legendary scriptwriter, editor and publisher, who revolutionized the comic book world, has died at the age of 95.

Tributes are pouring in for this “creative genius” Marvel Comics publisher – who brought to life iconic characters including Spider Man, X-Men, Thor, Iron Man, Black Panther and the Fantastic Four.

Lee has invented universe and alternate realities full of superhero and supervillains with the spectacular ability to shape the lives of people who read them. Many believe Marvel under his leadership has transformed the comic book world by using fiction to tackle social issues.

Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco, US) Appearing in Marvel films such as "Ant-Man," the GGB is one of the most featured bridges in the US. With a total length of 2.7 km, the GGB is one of the longest suspension bridges in the world and links San Francisco to Marin County, making it an important transportation hub in the area.

 Bethesda Fountain, Central Park (NYC, US) Built in 1873, the fountain was featured at the end of 2012's "The Avengers" when Loki was escorted back to Asgard. It is the most recognizable landmark in the park, and was built to commemorate the soldiers who died during the American Civil War. The fountain is jus a tiny part of the park overall, visitors can also enjoy the park's strawberry fields, zoo and lake.

Central Business District, Manhattan (NYC, US) Making appearances in multiple Marvel films such as " The Avengers" and "Spider-Man," Manhattan is the heart of the Marvel Universe. The borough is laid out in a uniform and grid of streets and avenues. Avenues run north to south and street run east to west, making it easy to navigate. The central avenue is the world-famous Fifth Avenue (5th Avenue) and Broadway is the only street that runs diagonally through Manhattan, creating both irregular intersections and room for world-class public spaces.

Aosta Valley (Italy) The majority of the scenes in the second Avengers installation, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in 2015, were filmed in Italy's Aosta Valley. The small Italian-and French-speaking corner in the northwest of the country holds the majestic Fort Bard, a 19th century castle located in the historic route that controls the pass between Italy and France. Surrounded by mountains, the valley is a destination for skiers, mountain climbers and hikers. Visitors will also get to see architecture from the Middle Ages and ancient Rome.

Old Royal Naval College (London, UK) Hollywood blockbusters filmed at the site, such as "Thor: The Dark World," have made it ironic. The Old Royal Naval College, situated in Greenwich on the Thames, is the prominent centerpiece of the area. Originally constructed in the 1696 as the Royal Hospital for Seamen, the building passed into the hands of the navy in 1873. In 1998 the site was given to the Greenwich Foundation and is now open to tourists and filmmakers alike.

Mong Kok (Hong Kong) The streets of Hong Kong served as a backdrop for Dr. Strange's battle with Casillas in the aptly named 2016 film "Dr. Strange." The fight sequences feature 35 boutiques with distinct Hong Kong characteristics, including restaurants, snack stands, laundries, anto parts stores, watch boutiques, Chinese medicine shops, groceries and print shops.

Skogafoss (Iceland) I'm sure you recognize this place from "Thor: The Dark World", the famous Skogafoss waterfall on the south coast of Iceland. The site served as Asgard, Thor's home planet, in the movie. Skogafoss is one of many beautifal waterfalls in Iceland and if you're feeling athletic,feel free to clmb the stairs to reach the top of the waterfall and gaze down.

Kathmandu Durbar Square (Nepal) The location is easily recognized by fans of "Doctor Strange." The old city, known as Durbar Square, lies at the center of Kathmandu. To its north, frenetic Thamel is a maze of hotels, restaurants and shops. To the south, the Bagmati River borders peaceful Patan district with its own Durbar Square and expatriate communities.

 Iguazu Falls (Argentina) The Marvel film Black Panther's gruilling coronation ritual combat scenes at Warrior Falls were shot at the Iguazu Falls that sits on the border of Argentina and Brazil in South America. It is one of the three largest waterfalls in the world and was declared as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1984. A short 90-minute flight from Buenos Aires will take you there!

Banaue Rice Terraces (Philippines) In the film Avengers: infinity War, the main villain Thanos (Josh Brolin) is seen walking out of a small hut to watch the sunset on a vista of mountains and rice paddies, which is the Banaue Rice Terraces in Batad, Ifugao Province of Philippines. The terraces are called the "Eighth Wonder of the World".
