Chinese President Xi Jinping gave opening remarks at the small-scale talks of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit Sunday morning in east China’s coastal city of Qingdao. He stressed the importance of cooperation on development and security and welcomed the participation of India and Pakistan as they were accepted as full members in June 2017.
