They like to eat tender grass with dew drops, and occasionally catch insects and small rodents for food.
In this video, two cute Himalayan marmots are playing with each other. Love is in the air.
Marmots mate in early spring after hibernation. They have a "harem-polygynous" mating system, which means the male marmot reproduces with multiple females at the same time.
