Cultural Heritage Day marked by honoring ancient pottery making techniques in SW China

June 10 is China's Cultural Heritage Day. To mark the  occasion, a ceremony took place at Nixingtao kiln in Qinzhou, Southwest China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, to commemorate ancient pottery making skills. /Chinanews Photo

The Nixingtao kiln has over 600 years of history. At around 80 meters in length, it is China's longest ancient kiln and is listed as one of the country' cultural heritages. /Chinanews Photo

During the ceremony, over 3700 high-quality pieces of pottery were produced from the kiln using traditional techniques. /Chinanews Photo
