South Korean President Moon Jae-in has called for more efforts to ensure the inter-Korean Olympic talks lead to discussion over the DPRK's nuclear program.
Moon said South Korea is facing a "precious chance to open the door" for a peaceful resolution of DPRK's nuclear issue. Meanwhile, preparations for the Pyeongchang Winter Games are underway. Earlier, an advance team inspected potential performance venues in South Korea's Gangneung city. The delegation will visit a few more venues in Seoul. South Korea plans to send its own advance team to the DPRK on Tuesday, to inspect facilities which will hold a cultural event and joint training exercises.
