Monday marks the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. 

In China, the number of drug users is still growing, according to a March report by the National Narcotics Control Commission.

While the number of overall drug users is growing, the amount of drug users aged under 18 almost halved in 2016, largely due to government efforts in raising awareness among students about the dangers of drugs.
