We begin with the World Economic Forum in Davos. Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chair of the WEF, welcomed China's top economic advisor, Liu He. In a speech, the Chinese official elaborated on the top-level planning for China's economic policies in the coming years. This year marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up drive, which played a significant role in China's robust growth over the past four decades. Liu said China will advance reform and open up at a faster pace, with new policies that will exceed international expectations.
