Australians are marking their national day with both celebrations and protests across the country.
In Sydney, an early morning indigenous ceremony was held. And the city's iconic harbour was bustling with a fleet of ships. January 26th marks the anniversary of the first British settlers landing in New South Wales in 1788. But indigenous Australians consider the date the start of British oppression. And thousands of protesters carrying Aboriginal flags marched in Melbourne and Sydney to protest what they call "invasion day".
