Chinese President Xi Jinping will officially visit Russia and Germany from July 3 to 6, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang announced on Tuesday.

Xi is invited by Russian President Vladimir Putin, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Angela Merkel, said Lu. 

President Xi will also attend the G20 summit due to take place in Hamburg, Germany on July 7 and 8.
