Davos Forum: Heavy snow hits the town as forum prepares to welcome world leaders
[]
The Swiss ski resort town of Davos was hit by heavy snow on Sunday. Workers are out in force clearing the streets of snow. More snow is expected to fall until Monday. The snow comes during the weekend ahead of the World Economic Forum, which begins on Tuesday. The Forum's founder Klaus Schwab says he is not worried about the weather affecting or delaying the forum. This year's annual meeting brings together political leaders including US President Donald Trump, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Britain's Prime Minister Theresa May. Many CEOs and top bankers will also be at the forum.
