UK Prime Minister Theresa May will likely reach a deal with Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) within 36 hours, the BBC reported on Tuesday.
The DUP's leader Arlene Foster has arrived at Downing Street to discuss backing May's minority Tory government.
Former Prime Minister John Major expressed his concern over the deal, saying that he was "wary and dubious" about its process.
Although facing a leadership challenge, Theresa May told Conservatives MPs that she would "get the mess out" at the first meeting since the election.
