Chinese President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing on Saturday after visiting Finland and then meeting with his US counterpart Donald Trump in Florida.
During his stay at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, Xi and Trump exchanged views on key areas of cooperation, as well as global and regional issues of common concern. The two leaders agreed to establish a comprehensive dialogue mechanism. President Trump has accepted an invitation to visit China some time later this year.
Multiple deals were signed during President Xi's visit to Finland. China and Finland agreed to establish and promote a future-oriented partnership, with both sides pledging to enhance political mutual trust and deepen pragmatic cooperation.
