China's weather authorities have renewed a snowstorm alert to residents in central parts of the country. Weather authorities say heavy snowfall will continue into Sunday morning, covering most of Henan Province, and parts of both Anhui and Hubei provinces. The powerful storm could dump 10 more centimeters of snow across these areas. The snowstorm began to grip central and eastern China on Wednesday, leaving at least one person dead in the city of Hefei, after a bus stop collapsed. Authorities say hundreds of people have been evacuated. The extreme cold weather has also disrupted land and air traffic.
