Two Chinese sites – Hoh Xil in Qinghai Province and Gulangyu Island in Fujian Province – are among the 34 sites being nominated for inclusion on UNESCO’s list of world heritages this year.

The 41st session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee began on Sunday in the Polish city of Krakow.
