The South Korean government has said that efforts to transport the Sewol ferry to shore are entering the final phase, despite bad weather which saw operations temporarily suspended. The salvage vessel will head to the port of Mokpo, around 90 kilometers away from its current location. Officials also confirmed that bones found near the wreck were from animals, and were not human remains.
