Hurricane Irma: Havana airport reopens after being shut since Saturday

Cuba's Jose Marti airport in the capital Havana reopened Tuesday following Hurricane Irma's passage through the nation.

Hundreds of passengers from all over the world were left stranded at the airport during the storm, as they tried to make their way back home. As the airport now struggles to tackle the backlog of flight delays, travelers were forced to wait on floors of the terminal while others complained about a lack of information. Water and food were also scarce at the airport, which had been closed since Saturday due to the Category 5 storm that killed at least 10 in Cuba.
