The Hungarian version of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s book on the governance of China was released on Monday in Budapest, capital of Hungary.
Liu Qibao, head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, and Matrai Marta, First Officer of the Hungarian National Assembly, participated in the release ceremony of the book.
In his speech, Liu introduced the rich content of the book from the perspectives of party governance, state governance and global governance.
Centralized reflection of China’s new ideas, thoughts and strategies of state governance
New ideas, thoughts and strategies of state governance were put forward, based on China’s prevailing conditions of development, under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi as the core, and they answered the profound theoretical and practical problems of governance of party and state in the new era.
"Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" is the centralized reflection of these new ideas, thoughts and strategies, Liu added.
Liu also pointed that the book would open a new window for the Hungarian people to better understand China, and enhance the understanding of China’s development ideas, path and internal and external policies.
Promote understanding and development of both countries
Matrai said China’s development is obvious to all, and China’s opinions cannot be ignored in global relations.
She added that the publication of the Hungarian version of the book would improve Hungarian people’s understanding of China and Chinese people, and promote the development of politics, economics, and culture between the two countries.
The Hungarian version is the 19th foreign language version of the book, and also the first version launched in the Central and Eastern European region.
