World Economic Recovery: December world PMI achieved new high

The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing has released fresh data on its World Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index. Its World PMI stood at 56.3 in December -- the highest in 2017-- showing improvements in the global economy.
The federation says Asia has been the largest contributor to the world economic recovery, recovering at a rate faster than the global average.
