Let's take a look now at the progress being made by the British side in the ongoing Brexit negotiations. No peace for Prime Minister Theresa May as members of Parliament's upper house claimed there are fundamental flaws in the European Union Bill.
The proposal is designed to incorporate current EU law into British law essentially in one move, allowing for changes later. Critics say the bill gives too much leeway to government ministers in correcting the retained EU laws. One parliament member called the bill "a copy and paste" measure and said it's constitutionally unacceptable. The upper house was to start debating the bill on Tuesday. Despite the questions however, the upper house wasn't expected to veto the bill.
