Now despite the Chinese lunar calendar welcoming in the spring season, it's still pretty cold out there in many parts of China.

In Southwest China's Yunnan Province, one county school held an event for needy children, teaching them the spirit of giving. Students painted their favorite cartoon characters or celebrities on shiny stones, and exchanged them for donated winter clothes. The story went viral on Chinese social media, with netizens praising the sharing activity, and as well as the artwork by the youngsters.
