Israel has summoned a top Polish diplomat to express concerns over the Eastern European country's recent bill outlawing any reference to Nazi death camps as "Polish".
The Polish parliament adopted legislation on Friday setting a maximum three-year jail term for anyone who accuses the nation of complicity with Nazi crimes. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu registered his opposition to the law, saying it was "baseless". Six million Polish nationals were killed during the Nazi occupation of Poland, including three million Jews in the Holocaust.
