So with the opening exactly a week from now, the Olympic flame had its last stop yesterday when it was carried through the city of Gangueng. Dubbed the relay for all, the torch's journey came to an end at a school in the local area where children were given the chance to see the flame up close.
The relay for all has involved just that. Stops have included an elderly people's home and a center for disabled veterans. By the time it reaches the Olympic Stadium in seven days' time, the torch would have travelled 2,018 kilometers after being held by 75-hundred people since arriving in the country November first. This city is particularly special to the Winter games as it will host events in hockey, speed skating and curling to go with the Paralympic equivalents.
