Winter Olympics: Moscow rally to support Russian athletes competing in Pyeongchang
[]
Thousands of people have gathered in Moscow in support of Russian athletes who will compete in the Winter Olympics in South Korea.  Similar rallies are being held across the country. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko has urged the IOC to allow 15 other athletes cleared of doping allegations to compete. 169 Russians are set to compete in Pyeongchang as independents following a ban against the country. This means they will not be allowed to wear Russia's colors of symbols. And if they win a gold medal, the Olympic anthem will be played.
