Ahead of his state visit, Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang told CCTV that a sound relationship between Vietnam and China conforms to the fundamental interests of both peoples, and the two countries are making joint efforts to integrate the Belt and Road Initiative with Vietnam's "Two Corridors and One Economic Circle" plan.

To further consolidate and develop the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China also helps promote regional and global peace and stability, he said. 

China has accumulated valuable experience in the economic field during the process of nation-building and development, he added, noting Vietnam and China should continue to expand and improve the quality and effects of cooperation in various areas.
