Australian Open: Zhang Shuai stuns Stephens 2-6, 7-6, 6-2

We bounce along to tennis, and the Australian Open. World No. 34 Zhang Shuai successfully moved into the second round after toppling 13th seed Sloan Stephens in three sets. The loss is the 8th straight for the American, who has not won since capturing her first grand slam title in New York in September. Following her triumph Zhang Shuai shared her thoughts on the big win.
ZHANG SHUAI ADVANCES TO SECOND ROUND "I didn't think I had much chance in the first set because every shot I hit, she turned it into a winner. So I felt like we were not on the same level. But in the second set, I can tell she lost her focus or strength. And I immediately took advantage. To have the chance to play such a competitive opponent, will help me improve. I'm very happy that I won this match.  
Also in action is China's Duan Yingying at the top of your screen, who bagelled Mariana Duque-Marino of Colombia in the opening set. And is control in the second, thanks to this heavy serve.
The world number 97 wins it 6-love, 6-1 when her opponent fires long on match point. The Chinese is into the second round in Melbourne for the second time in her career.
As for other results, 25th seed Peng Shuai of China fell to Marta Kostyuk 6-2, 6-2. Last year's finalist Venus Williams fell to Belinda Bencic in straight sets. Second seed Caroline Wozniacki sweeps Mihaela Buzărnescu 6-2, 6-3. Elina Svitolina, Daria Kasatkina and french open winner Jelena Ostapenko among the other winners.
