At least 14 people have died and dozens were injured after a passenger train derailed and crashed into a truck, before bursting into flames in South Africa's Free State province. Emergency services have said around 40 people have been injured. Local media are reporting some victims were treated at the scene near Kroonstad, 200 kilometers southwest of Johannesburg. Others have been taken to hospital. The train was on its way to Johannesburg from Port Elizabeth.
