Four killed, one injured after power tower collapse in E China

At least four people were killed and one was injured after a high-voltage power tower under construction collapsed in east China's Jiangxi Province on Sunday morning, the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) has confirmed.
Five workers started their construction work on stringing power lines that had been transmitting 500 kilowatts on early Sunday morning in Hehu town.
The incident occurred at around 7:26 a.m. local time as the tower broke off and plunged, causing the workers to fall.
Two workers were immediately confirmed dead, and the other three were sent to hospital. Two of the three were later pronounced dead after receiving treatment.
The collapsed tower, according to the local government, was operated under the name of State Grid Jiangxi Electric Power Company.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
