China Central Television's Spring Festival Gala for 2018 has held its first full rehearsal.

The annual gala will be broadcasted live from 8pm on February the 15th, the Chinese New Year's eve. 2018 will be the year of the dog, which is often described as the man's best friend. This year's gala highlights the integration of the international community. Foreign actors will perform songs, dance, do acrobatics, and magic tricks. The CCTV Gala has been part of Chinese New Year celebrations since the 1980s.
