MOFA: Belt and Road Initiative is no 'one-man show'

In response to a question about China's control over the Belt and Road Initiative, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) says the Belt and Road Initiative will benefit others, and China has no intention of putting up a "one-man show.”
“China has no intention of putting up a ‘one man show,’ and is willing to discuss and share benefits with others. If China is truly taking sole control of the initiative, and if others cannot benefit from it, then I think no one would participate in it,“ said MOFA spokesperson Geng Shuang.
Geng also said that more than 110 countries and international organizations have taken part in the Initiative.
The Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, which will be held on May 14 and 15 in Beijing, will see the participation of at least 28 heads of state and government.
