Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has said that any chance for dialogue on the situation of the Korean peninsula must be seized.
Wang made the remarks at the ongoing China Development Forum in Beijing on Monday.
On issues concerning the Korean Peninsula, we should "not give up hope in peace and dialogue," said Wang. Because that is the only plan possible to look for a solution to the crisis, he added.
Talking about China-US relations, the minister said China has confidence in bilateral ties. There are prospects for cooperation in sectors including service, finance, and high tech.
