MOFA: Belt & Road Forum a success

The high-profile Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation concluded in Beijing on Monday. A large number of deals were signed and a joint communique was released, seeking an open and prosperous world economy. China's Foreign Ministry said the fruitful outcome of the forum and its deals are far-reaching.
"The forum was successful, excellent, pragmatic and fruitful. Parties involved sent out a strong message that they hoped to forge platforms for international cooperation, drive world economic growth and bolster confidence for the development of economic globalization. It's a forum of significant and profound influence,” said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying.
