Massive flooding submerges China's Shaanxi Province

Streets in Yulin city, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, are flooded severely after being hit by rain storms several days in a row, more than 2,900 people have been evacuated as of 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Three red storm alerts have been issued by Yulin's meteorological center.

According to Yulin's meteorological center, over 100mm of rain was recorded in 24 hours, and Suide county and Zizhou county suffered the most.

It is recorded Zizhou county has the most downpours of 203mm of rain.

A dam failure happened in a reservoir in Suide county, causing the whole county flooded in over 3 meters' height.
