President Xi leaves for Kazakhstan state visit

President Xi Jinping left China on Wednesday for a state trip to Kazakhstan.

During his visit from June 7 to 10, Xi will attend the 17th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the opening ceremony of Expo 2017 in the capital Astana.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Kazakhstan.
