If you ever get tired of seeing that clichéd graduation photo where students in dull uniforms stand in lines wearing strained smiles, take a look at this one. /CFP Photo

As graduation season approaches, a middle school girl from southwest China’s Chongqing has sketched a special graduation photo, employing various cartoon animal figures to demonstrate her classmates in memory of the friendships she established with them during their precious three years together in class. /CFP Photo

Altogether, 29 students in her class were seen being respectively presented as adorable animals, including a hippo, a lion as well as a kangaroo, thanks to the 15-year-old’s innovative idea and artistic talent. /CFP Photo

Li Lu, author of the six-meter-long scroll, told Chongqing Morning Post that she had created the figures based on the different characters and personalities of her classmates. /CFP Photo

Accomplishing the arduous artwork in two days, Li said she hoped her work could also serve as a unique gift for her beloved friends. /CFP Photo
