United Airlines has announced 10 major policy changes in the wake of the dragged passenger scandal earlier this month. United said the changes were designed to improve customer services and the airline's code of conduct for employees.
The measures include limiting the use of law enforcement and increasing compensation to customers bumped from flights to as much as 10,000 US dollars. United CEO Oscar Munoz apologized for passenger David Dao's treatment again in the airline's statement, and called the crisis a turning point for the company.
