Xi's Southeast Asia Visit: Chinese President wraps up tour of Vietnam, Laos

Chinese President Xi Jinping has wrapped up his visit to Vietnam and Laos. Over the past five days, Xi participated in nearly 40 bilateral and multilateral activities.  Chief among them, Xi addressed the 25th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders' Meeting held in Da Nang, Vietnam, promising to further open China. On the sidelines of the meeting, he also met with leaders from Russia, South Korea and Japan.
 During his state visit to Vietnam, a series of agreements was reached on trade and maritime issues.  During his time in Laos, the two countries agreed to build an unbreakable community of a shared future with strategic importance.
In addition, the two sides also agreed to push forward China's reform and opening up, and Laos' reform and renewal.
