A look at US-China trade relations. A report from the American Chamber of Commerce in China says American companies are positive about China's economic growth in coming years. But many of the group's members say they don't feel welcome by the Chinese government.
The report shows nearly half of survey respondents are confident China will open its doors wider to foreign capital in the next three years, up from just over a third in the last survey. The chamber says investment growth will remain much slower than historical levels. That's because foreign businesses feel they are treated unfairly compared to domestic counterparts. Analysts say major trade imbalances between the US and China will continue. The report also warns that there will be significant challenges to resolving existing sources of friction between the two sides.
