148 people were evacuated as landslide struck Sanhe county of Zhaotong city, southwest China's Yunnan Province early Monday, according to Chinanews.com.
The incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. local time on Monday, when 26 houses collapsed. No casualties have been reported so far.

The local government was on high alert as heavy rain has been hitting the region for days.
