Fortune Global Forum Opening: China determined to enhance economic globalization

China is determined to expand its interests with all countries, and to liberalize and facilitate trade and investment. That's according to Chinese President Xi Jinping, as he sent his congratulations to the Fortune Global Forum. The business summit opened in China's Guangzhou city Wednesday morning. A grand gathering for world business leaders. The theme of this year's Fortune Global Forum is Openness & Innovation: Shaping the Global Economy.
Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a letter of congratulations to the Forum. He says China will inject more vitality in its development and interact deeper with the world to create more opportunities for the global economy. Xi jinping also pledged to liberalize and facilitate trade and investment. He welcomed more foreign companies to invest in China.
Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony. He said globalization is the precondition for shaping a new pattern for the world economy.
