On top of international conferences and fan events, the annual comic convention this year features a safety and self-protection themed venue, where police officers, some dressed in specially designed panda costumes based on uniforms of Chinese security forces, use the opportunity to educate children on road safety and self-protection knowledge. /VCG Photo
