2017 Fortune Global Forum: Fortune Global Forum opens in Guangzhou

The 2017 Fortune Global Forum has opened this morning in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou. Vice Premier Wang Yang delivered the keynote speech. Wang said globalization is the precondition of shaping a new pattern of world economy. This is the fifth Fortune Global Forum held in China. Heads of the world's Fortune Global 500 companies can actively engage with world leaders on the forefront of international commerce.
There are over 1,000 participants from across the world, including business leaders, economists and scholars. They will share thoughts on the future of global trade and finance, as well as on industries such as health care, urban development, and transportation.
