ISIL has claimed responsibility for an attack on a military academy in Kabul. The militant group made the announcement through their Amaq News Agency.
At least one soldier was killed and three others were wounded, after a group of gunmen attacked the Marshal Fahim Military Academy, on the outskirts of the city. The academy hosts the majority of training schools for the Afghan National Army. The attack marks the latest violence that has hit the Afghan capital. It came only two days after an explosives-laden ambulance blew up in a busy street in the city, killing 103 people, and injuring more than 230.
