Pyeongchang Winter Olympics: South Korean skiers depart to joint training in DPRK

A group of South Korean non-Olympic skiers departed for a DPRK ski resort on Wednesday for a joint training session between the two countries.
The ski session is one of two events the two countries had agreed to ahead of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. The South Koreans will fly back on Thursday accompanied by DPRK alpine and cross-country skiers who will compete in the Olympic Games as part of a joint Korean team. South Korea is preparing to host hundreds of DPRK athletes during the games.
