Bangladesh has agreed to complete the process of returning displaced Rohingya Muslims to Myanmar, within two years.
The decision comes after representatives from the two countries, met in Myanmar's capital Naypyitaw, to implement a repatriation deal signed last year. In a joint statement, Bangladesh said it would set up five transit camps, with Myanmar providing two reception centres for those returning. Myanmar said earlier that returnees would be able to apply for citizenship "after they pass the verification process".
